Traditional Virgin Aggregate
At BELISA, we uphold the highest standards of quality in brick manufacturing, utilising traditional virgin aggregate rather than substandard recycled ash aggregate which is prone to cracking, increasing void formation, requiring more plaster to complete your project.

BELISA (Better Living Solutions Africa) was established in 2011 with the aim of providing innovative building technologies and solutions to the affordable housing market in Africa.

Based in Brakpan, on the East Rand of Gauteng, we manufacture, supply and deliver high quality bricks across the Gauteng region.

BELISA wants to change that. All products that BELISA produces undergo the most stringent quality control to ensure the highest quality output.
All mixing is done by specialised machinery sourced from German market leaders within the construction industry.

INNOVATION
Corit® is an additive that is combined with cement to produce BELISA stones and upgrades the quality of the cement. The advantages of Corit® compared to conventional building materials are numerous. Corit® has insulating properties, making structures built with Corit® highly energy efficient.
The production of many other kinds of products requires the addition of scarce resources like sand, but the addition of Corit® allows valuable resources that have limited further applications to be used instead. Corit® kills two birds with one stone, ensuring materials like fly ash are put to good use and providing an alternative to scarce resource overconsumption.

The energy needed to produce bricks from Corit® is also a fraction of that of conventional cement.
